Disneyland opened its doors more than 50 years ago when Walt Disney’s vision for a magical destination was brought to life in Anaheim, California. Since 1955, Disneyland theme park, home to the iconic Mickey Mouse, has captivated children of all ages and their families with imaginative experiences that transport people to other places in time and space. Today, Disneyland Resort comprises two theme parks located adjacent to each other: Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure.

Disneyland Park.

Disneyland Park in Anaheim was Walt Disney’s original theme park. Quickly dubbed upon its grand opening in 1955 as the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland today continues to offers exciting rides and attractions, restaurants, liver entertainment, shopping along the nostalgic Main Street U.S.A., and world-recognized Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Buzz Lightyear, and countless other fairy tale favorites. Disney’s California Adventure Park.

Disney’s new California Adventure Park is the thrilling sister park to the original Disneyland. Adrenaline-pumping rides, themed restaurants, shopping, and venues for exciting live entertainment are the cornerstones of the newest theme park to open in Southern California. Disney’s California Adventure park also offers fun things to do for young children. Ariel’s Disney Princess Celebration at Ariel’s Grotto is a favorite experience for young park-goers. Here, children can dine and meet famous Disney princesses including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, and Ariel.  [Top]
